Why I started rapping.

The music for me, has become a way that I spend 1 on 1 time with God. I realized that God was dong something special with it when I realized that I was really good at writing and poetry in high school. Back then, and through college, rap really was just a fun hobby/hidden passion of mine that I never intended on taking seriously. However, I hit a point to where I started to realize that this is a gift that the Lord has given me - to be able to write out and release my thoughts and prayers and just let Him receive the blessing from it. It was a clear, still, voice that just said “Go, and share this with the world.” At that point I decided to stop gatekeeping my terrible freestyles and rhymes that I had done with my friends growing up. You know who you are. And so the Lord has just been so kind with His patience and holding my hand through the whole music thing. Now, here we are, and still going all for Him.

Fun fact, my artist name “T Log” was simply generated from my nickname in school growing up. It just fit, so when trying to figure out what my rapper name would be, I just kept it at that. It’s not an alter ego. It’s not some different, more masterminded version of myself. It’s just me. Tyler Logsdon. T Log. Same dude.
